AN apprentice has helped two enterprise networks grow their online presence.
Natasha Curry, 24, focuses on social media and digital marketing as network co-ordinator at Digital Union and Gateshead Business.
Ms Curry undertook a social media and digital marketing apprenticeship with Team Valley-based Access Training, learning how to use web design, social media scheduling and platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook.
She now sets up and runs social media campaigns.
Ms Curry, from Sunderland, said: “The course has really helped me understand social media channels and how to use them as effective business growth tools.
“I'm now using social networks and social management tools I didn’t know existed, something which has helped Digital Union and Gateshead Business.”
Valerie Green, Access Training's senior business development consultant, added: “Social media is one of those things that most people use in some shape or form, but that very few people use to its full advantage, especially in business.
“By completing the apprenticeship, Natasha is helping organisations grow their online presence in a carefully planned and managed way.”
