A TRAINING organisation has embarked on the latest chapter of its growth.

Gradvert has expanded into the Midlands.

The company, led by Michaela Reaney, who hails from Yarm, near Stockton, has opened an office in Solihull to complement its Newcastle headquarters and a further base in London.

Ms Reaney said the firm, which began as a graduate recruitment business and has grown into a training provider working with national and international clients, sees the Midlands as a key area in its evolution.

She added Perry Deakin has been appointed sales and marketing director, revealing he will be supported by Samantha Thompson and John Wilkins.

Ms Reaney, who set up the company in 2012, said: “We see vast potential and believe the encouraging start we have seen is just the beginning of genuine and sustainable growth.

“There is a huge amount happening in this part of the country and we are committed to growing our presence.

“We are working right across the region already and there are some really exciting projects in the pipeline.

“I am hugely excited about what the future holds for us.”

Gradvert works with companies such as transport operator Go-Ahead, which runs bus services across the North- East. It also previously announced it was partnering Newcastle University students’ union on a course aimed at preparing learners for work.
