TEESSIDE Nortech Group, the engineering design and project management company, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new office in Aberdeen. With offices in Wynyard and now North East Scotland, the company will be able to better serve its client bases in these two key industrial regions and, in particular, support the evolving requirements of the energy sector.

The investment in the Aberdeen office, which will be staffed by a group of senior Nortech employees who will work across the company’s two operations, is the latest development by the business, which has experienced rapid growth in recent years.

Bryan Bunn, Managing Director of Nortech Group, said: “We have built a strong reputation in the Aberdeen market and this new office will enable the business to further develop its position in the region’s industry sectors.

“Despite the fluctuations and uncertainties in the oil & gas sector, we have confidence in the industry, which is reflected by establishing a permanent base in Aberdeen that will work in tandem with our successful North East England operation to provide greater levels of service to our clients.

“The evolving landscape in the energy sector, particularly oil & gas, requires a more agile and proactive supply chain. As a relatively small, but experienced, business in the supply chain, we can better react to the changes in the market and meet the requirements of our customers through our professional services in a fast and effective manner.”
