COMPANIES have until the end of this month to submit their nominations for the North East Exporters Awards 2008.
Sponsored by UK Trade and Investment, One NorthEast and the North East Chamber of Commerce, the awards recognise the efforts of individuals who have helped their companies boost international sales performance.
The winners will be announced at a dinner to be attended by Lord Digby Jones, Minister for Trade and Investment, at The Hilton, Gateshead, on Thursday, July 17.
Television presenter Wendy Gibson will lead guests through the proceedings.
Former British Lion and rugby international, now writer and broadcaster Martin Bayfield will be the after-dinner speaker.
Entries are sought in five categories and each of the winners will receive a trophy and £1,000.
