AN ice-cream firm has won contracts worth up to £2.5m.
R&R Ice Cream, which has a production site in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire, has received the orders for its Nestle, Thorntons and Ribena impulse products.
The products are being sold in about 500 One Stop stores, 260 BPowned forecourts and more than 500 Shell-owned forecourts.
Selected products are also available at 105 Moto sites - the UK's largest provider of motorway service areas.
The products involved include Nestle Munchies, Fruit-Pastil, Smarties, Milky Bar, Mr Men and After Eight.
There are also two Ribena variants as well as the new Thorntons range including Toffee Temptation and Chocolate Trio.
Another new customer for this year is The Alnwick Garden, one of the five most visited gardens in the UK, which is taking a range of ten products including Fab, Thorntons, Ribena and Smartie.
Martin Williams, sales manager of wholesale at R&R Ice Cream, said: "Winning these key contracts provides further proof of the strength of our impulse range.
"The team put a lot of planning and research into pitching for this business and their hard work has paid significant dividends."
