A NORTH-EAST dentist has become the first UK technician to train at a world-famous US centre.
Richard Elliott, from Queensway Dental Clinic, in Billingham, near Stockton, visited the Kois Centre, in Seattle, to undertake a five-day treatment planning course.
Mr Elliott said: “The whole experience was utterly enthralling.
“What I learnt was invaluable and has provided me with a better understanding of clinical management, which I'm applying to my everyday role.
“The work at the centre has helped me to cement ideas and principles of dentistry and work alongside fellow dentists who share my enthusiasm and passion.
“I'm now passing my knowledge to my members of staff, which directly benefits clinic patients.”
The Kois Centre offers a curriculum including aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
