THE North-East has again missed out on the latest wave of a superfast broadband services.
Everything Everywhere (EE), the company which owns T-Mobile and Orange, said its 4G coverage will be available in towns including Huddersfield, Blackpool, Dewsbury and Pontefract.
The announcement comes after EE earlier this year revealed 4G services would be rolled out in London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester.
The company employs about 6,000 people in the North-East and is Darlington's largest private employer with about 2,000 workers at its call centre.
