McNEILL Derek George (Fencehouses) Formerly Chester-Le-Street. Mary and Derek jnr would like to take this opportunity to thank all family, friends and neighbours for numerous cards and flowers, calls and messages of support during a difficult time. A special thank you to all who supported Derek jnr in carrying out his dad's last journey (you all know who you are). A huge thank you to everyone who helped care for Derek in anyway, your support has been invaluable and we couldn't have managed without you all. Final thanks go to daughter-in-law Kay for the flowers, the Rev'd Bryony Taylor for a memorable service and to Alan Duckworth Funeral Directors for what can only be classed as exemplary service. God bless you all. Donations raised for St. Benedicts Hospice in Derek's memory was £866.77. Thanks to you all who gave so generously. Derek has left a huge void in our lives that can never be filled and will be loved and longed for forever and always.
