STANNARD Kenneth (Ken) Ken passed away peacefully at the Manor House Care Home, in Barnard Castle, on June 12, at the age of 95. Devoted husband of the late Winnie, wonderful and dearly loved Dad of Margaret and son-in-law Phil. Loving and treasured granda of Andrew, David, Catherine and their partners, a proud and much loved 'Big Granda' to Jake, Alice, Jennifer, Max, Martha, Matthew and Alfred. A dearly loved uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and a good friend to a great many people. Private family cremation will take place at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, June 28, at 10.45am, followed by a celebration of Ken's life at Trinity Methodist Church, Barnard Castle at 12.30pm. Friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only please (no lilies). Donations, in lieu of flowers, for the Alzheimer's Association, in memory of Winnie. At Ken's request, please wear light colours.
