POWELL Heighington December 5, peacefully at home, with her family. Elizabeth (Bessie) aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife to David, much loved mother to Richard, Ian, Sarah and Stephen, loving mother-in-law to Andrew, Jane and Ruth, devoted nana to Rhys, Jonathan, Faye, Emily, John, Tom and Oliver and a dear sister to John and the late Brenda. Sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Friday December 15. Would friends kindly meet for Service in St. Michael's Church, Heighington at 1.00pm followed by committal and cremation at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu in aid of either Macmillan Cancer Support or Marie Curie Cancer Care will be accepted by Whitehouse Funeral Service, Surtees House, Hilton Road, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 6EN.
