BECKWITH (Witton Gilbert) On June 19, peacefully at home Peter aged 86 years. Beloved and devoted husband of Jane, dearly loved father to Nigel and Denise, Ann and Brian and Sara and Harry. Treasured grandfather to Helen and Michael, Gordon, Claire and Mike, Richard and Kirsty and Jane and Mark. An adoring great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Cremation to be held at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, June 29 at 10.30am, prior to service at Sacriston Methodist Chapel at 11.15am Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Marie Curie Nursing Team and the Huntington's Disease Association. The family would like to thank Sacriston Surgery, Crescent Care and the Marie Curie Nurses for their wonderful care and support.

It took hours. But I did it!! I am sorry for your loss of your wonderful father, brother ,wife, grandpa,uncle, great grandpa. I am deeply upset by hearing about Uncle Peter passing away. I do have a grand- daughter due in the next 10 weeks and it makes me think that life goes on through generations. Its a cycle of life. I am thinking of you and all the family at this difficult time . Please make sure my dad is ok. Aunt Jane.... i am praying for you all the time. You have so much love around you and so much support from an amazing family. I wish I was not so far away from.I wish I could be there through this difficult time in your lives.
