BALLANTYNE Jean Morpeth, formerly of Horden, Co. Durham. Peacefully after a short illness on Sunday, October 4, aged 86 years, Jean. Beloved wife of the late Ken, much loved mother of Keith and Anne and mother-in-law of Sue and Brendan and a loving grandma of Robert, Michael, Lily and Rhianna. Funeral service at St Mary’s Parish Church, Morpeth on Friday, October 16 at 1.45p.m followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium at 3.30p.m. All friends are invited to celebrate Jean’s life at The Wansbeck, Kirkhill, afterwards. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St Oswald's Hospice c/o Jacob Conroy & Son. Fenwick House, 8 Manchester Street, Morpeth, NE61 1BH.
