ELLIOTT Michelle On July 14, suddenly at her home in Surbiton, Surrey, aged 50 years, former student of St. Leonard's Catholic School, Durham. Much loved daughter of David and Eleanor, loving sister to Karen, sister-in-law of Chris, a dear aunt to Nicholas and Elizabeth and a loving niece of Kath and Annie. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Friday, August 7, at 3.30p.m. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers may be given after the service for The Stroke Association.

Echoing Ian's post. I just found out last night about this. So very saddened to hear the news and my thoughts go out to the family. I also worked with Michelle in Citi and then UBS.
Michelle was very skilled and on a personal note a pleasure to be around. She will be sorely missed. xx

I was so sorry and saddened to hear of Michelle's passing. I only found out in October and have just realised I can respond to the Northern Echo's announcement.. Michelle was a great friend and colleague of mine at Citigroup and BOC. We enjoyed so many happy professional and social times together, please pass on my condolences. Regards, Ian Johnstone.
