HUMPHRYS July 24, (peacefully at home) of Mayorswell Field, Durham, Gill. Beloved wife of the late Prof Lyn Williams, dearly missed mother of Ben and Matthew and a dear grandma to Laura, Livvy, Abigail and Felix. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, August 5, at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Rest in peace Gill, so sad to hear your gone. You helped me greatly when I had my time new college durham. I always held so much gratitude in my heart for the time and dedication what was put in. I'm eternally grateful to have known you. Thank you

It is so sad to hear of Gill's death. She was a very kind, generous and joyful person to know. The time I worked with Gill at New College Durham I realised she was an exceptionally creative person, and a truly inspirational teacher. The world is a sadder place without Gill.
