THOMPSON Val (nee Hardaker) of Shildon, died peacefully at home with her family by her side, on June 25, aged 61 years. Beloved daughter of the late Ada and Laurie, loving and devoted mam of Gareth, Wayne and Sadie, dearest sister of Kelly, John, Diane, Catherine and the late Olwyn, also a much loved auntie and friend to many. Funeral service at Shildon Methodist Church, on Friday, July 3, at 2.45p.m., followed by cremation at the Wear Valley Crematorium. Will friends please meet in church. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the Cardio Vascular Unit of the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, may be given as you leave the church.
