REED Valerie Of Bishop Auckland. Died at home after a long illness on January 17, aged 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Reed, much loved mam of Helen, dearest mother-in-law to Richard, loving and devoted grandma of Rachel and Lucy, dearest sister of Peter, also good friend to all who knew her. Funeral service at St Andrew's Church, South Church, Bishop Auckland on Tuesday, January 27 at 12.00 noon, followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Will friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be left at the crematorium or sent c/o the family for Butterwick Hospice and the local Macmillan Nurses.
