BARFIELD August 27, (peacefully at home) of Laurel Avenue, Sherburn Road, Ethel aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Walter, a much missed mam of Pat, Denis and the late Ann and mother-in-law to Alison and Clive, also a devoted grandma and great-grandma. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crema-torium on Friday, September 5, at 3.30pm. Family flowers only, with donations in lieu kindly accepted by Marie Curie Cancer Research UK
