SIMPSON Margaret Lizzie (Bessie, nee Gowland) aged 90 years of Butterknowle, died peacefully at home, on February 15. Beloved wife of the late Norman and a much loved mam and grandma. Funeral Service at St John’s Church, Lynesack, on Friday, February 22, at 11.00am., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, if desired donations for The Friends of Butterknowle Surgery may be given at Butterknowle Village Hall following the service or sent care of John Blenkiron and Sons Ltd, Funeral Directors, 19 Galgate, Barnard Castle, DL12 8EQ.
