Selecting a food place can be somewhat problematic - with price, quality and location all becoming factors for people. 

However, one of the other biggest factors is looking for the food hygiene ratings. 

It's not always that easy to spot a food hygiene rating at the restaurant unless you're looking for it. 

But here at The Northern Echo, we have rounded up every food venue in North Yorkshire that has received a one-star hygiene rating or lower from the Food Standards Agency.

So without further ado, here are all of the food places that are rated one star or lower when it comes to their most recent inspections.
