Consett went top of the ENL last night with a 4-3 win at Stockton to preserve their unbeaten record.
Freddie Woodhouse put Stockton ahead from close range after 5 minutes from a James Risbrough cross, but Michael Sweet broke clear and levelled for Stockton on the half hour.
Sweet set up Michael Mackay to fire Consett into the lead on the hour, but Nathan Mulligan equalised from the penalty spot.
However, Sweet restored Consett’s lead with a low shot, but Stockton levelled again on 80 minutes through Adam Nicholson from a corner.
But Consett won it with a minute left with a 25 yarder by Aksel Juul
In the Durham Challenge Cup, Brandon lost 3-0 at home to Silksworth for whom Harry Monday (2) and Adam Storey scored.
Crook lost 4-1 at home to Ryhope CW, who took the lead with two goals by Shaun Pickford by the 10th minute. Andrew Lonsdale pulled a goal back for Crook, but James Ellis scored twice more for Ryhope before half time.
