Guisborough keeper Jordan Nixon scored a dramatic last minute equaliser for his team against Hebburn last night in the ENL – for the second time this season.

The former Darlington keeper volleyed a last gasp equaliser against Newton Aycliffe in the FA Cup last month, and last night with Guisborough trailing 3-2 in stoppage time, he went up front and fired an equaliser again to give his side a 3-3 draw.

Hebburn scored twice in quick succession through Andrew Stephenson and Ben Dibb-Fuller in the first half, before Mason McNeill pulled a goal back just after half time. Graeme Armstrong made it 3-1 for Hebburn, but again Guisborough pulled a goal back through Steve Roberts on 68 minutes.

Shildon are back on top of the table thanks to a nervous 2-1 home win over Whickham.

Bottom of the table Whickham stunned Shildon by taking the lead when Andy Bulford crossed for Joe Mole to head home, but Shildon levelled on 27 minutes with a good shot by Jack Blackford.

Loan signing Keith Graydon then split the Whickham defence for Blackford to fire his second just before half time.

However, Whickham nearly grabbed a point with a shot by Dale Burrell that hit the post.

Consett won at North Shields for the second time in three days, this time by 3-0 with goals by Calvin Smith, Nick Green and Danny Craggs.

Whitley Bay outplayed Newcastle Benfield by 6-1, with Jack Foalle, and Olly Martin scoring two apiece.

In the second division, Chester-le-Street still have a 100 per cent record thanks to a first half goal by Jack Oliver at Brandon.

Tow Law fought out a goalless draw at Billingham Synthonia, while Jarrow beat Thornaby with a goal by Paul Muir.

Redcar Athletic had a good 1-0 win over Heaton Stannington, Sam Webster scoring the goal.

In the FA Vase, Northallerton won their replay by 3-2 at Willington.

Northallerton took the lead with a terrific long range shot by Chris Emms, then Nicky Martin fired the second. However, Willington pulled one back through Dean Thexton on 27 minutes. Elliott McGlade put Northallerton 3-1 up, before Mattie Moffat scored late on. Northallerton will now be at home to Steeton in the next round.
