Northallerton are back in the top three of the ENL Second Division after they won 1-0 at Durham last night.

Richie Walker scored the goal three minutes into the second half from a pass by Chris Dickinson. Durham had Craig Hennis sent off late in the game. They are now above Whickham by a point, having played the same number of games.

Tow Law did them a favour by beating second placed Hebburn 2-1. Scott Oldfield and Lewis Teasdale scored for Tow Law by the 46th minute, with Channon North pulling a goal back.

In the first division, Vase finalists Stockton won 3-0 at sixth bottom Seaham Red Star, with goals by Jamie Owens, Jamie Ward and Sonni Coleman.

Consett, whose manager Mark Eccles is leaving the club for work reasons, hammered Washington 8-1 in their last league game, with Michael Sweet and Danny Craggs both scoring hat tricks, while David Dowson and Jordan Lavery scored the others. Jak Hanson replied for relegated Washington.
