THE ladies exchange day to Matfen Hall still managed to go ahead under Covid 19 guidelines.
The long course and its challenges of water and walls tested everyone. Vicky Iveson sponsored the competition, giving prizes to the winning team of Anne Moore and Anne Guy with a hidden partner and to second place Val Hay, Ann Hargreaves and Sue Stevens.
Sandra Jones sponsored the nearest the pin prizes won by Jackie Hutt, Paula Hamer, Sandra Jones and Sue Stevens.
The Guy Trophy stableford competition for handicaps 0-24 and sponsored by Anne Guy was won by Margaret Ferguson (23) 35pts, second Davina Matthews (12) 33pts, third Val Hay (23) 32pts.
The Shoppee Salver for handicaps 25 and over was sponsored by Paula Hamer and won by Marion Palmer (25) 31pts, second Sue Bingham (27) 30pts, third Susan MacKellar (35) 29pts.
The finalists of the men's handicap knockout for the Murray Cup are Gareth Harris, who beat Jeevan Rai on the 19th in the semis, and Pete Hodson who beat head greenkeeper Graeme Regan.
