THE first junior open evening at Richmond Golf Club with Graeme Storm was held on Monday, August 25, with a fantastic turnout.

The two-time European Tour winner held the first session since opening the Graeme Storm Golf Academy at Richmond, and it proved a hugely popular evening among youngsters trying the game.

Junior membership is now available at Richmond (under 12s Free) with Saturday morning coaching sessions available during school term time for £3 per week for 20 weeks. Maximum group size of eight and parents will be notified of dates.

Junior membership of the Graeme Storm Golf Academy is also available for young golfers of all abilities looking to start out or enhance their talent further.

Gents club championship: Ryan Howe won the 2020 Club Championship held across August 29 and 30. In a tight battle, Howe edged John Lancaster in the gross prize across the 36 holes of competition with the race to be champion coming down to the last. Lancaster won the nett prize with Chris Lightfoot in second place.
