THE final Tuesday Covid team game was won on countback by Vicky Iveson, Margaret Ferguson and Anne Guy (74pts) ahead of Val Carveth, Pat Weymes and Susan MacKellar. Points have been awarded to all the places over the season and the winning players will be announced shortly.

The Maisie Warrior trophy is a 36 hole stableford competition played over two days. Round one was also for the Captains Charity Cup with prizes donated by Vicky Iveson. Sue Marshall (24) won with 36pts, 2nd Val Carveth (19) 34pts, 3rd Paula Hamer (13) 34pts.

Nearest the pin prize at eighth hole winner was Ruth Suffell and straightest drive at 17th Vicky Iveson, each winning a bottle of champagne donated by the Captain David Wright and Rachel and Paul Miller.

Round two of the competition was in testing wet conditions. The winning score of 36pts and a total of 70pts over the two days was enough for Paula Hamer to retain the trophy from last year. Second Val Carveth (19) 33pts, total 63pts, 3rd Val Hay 32pts, total 62pts.

Pro Medal: 1st Bishnu Thapa (7) net 68, 2nd Ram Malla (6)net 69, 3rd Raju Roka (14) = net 69.

Pro Stableford : 1st Anthony Martin (11) 40pts, 2nd Prades Limbu (11) 38pts, 3rd Calum Hoyle (19) 37pts.
