23/09 Falls & Castle Races – A great new event organised by our very own David & Carol Murray.
A seven or eighteen mile choice run round Wensleydale starting & finishing at Castle Bolton.
Well done to all the Swaledalers who ran with plenty of prizes going to Swaledale Runners.
18 mile route – Rachel Carlton 2nd F, Vicky Jewitt 3rd F, Grace Gilpin 1st FV50, Jan Iisley 2nd FV50, Julia Spittle 1st FV60, Roger Brisley 1st MV60. Zoe Foulerton was the sole runner in the seven mile race.
22/09 – Great Whernside Fell Race, another top ten for Tim Grimwood – 10th – 34.47, Sarah Hackett – 59th – 5th Lady – 42.43, Robbie Kelly – 63rd – 43.17, Mike Keavney – 67th – 43.44, Simon Hewitt – 79th – 46.30.
