Bishop Auckland were beaten 4-1 at Billingham Town in the ENL.

Bishops keeper Nick Liversedge saved an early penalty by Craig Hutchinson, but he had no chance when Hutchinson turned and fired his side ahead.

Bishops then went close with headers by Andy Johnson and Chris Winn but Town added a second thanks to a quick break away by Luke Hogan.

But Bishops pulled a goal back just on half time when Jamie Tumilty set up Liam Potter to score from close range. However, Bishops conceded another penalty soon after the break, and this time Elliot Beddow made no mistake. Billingham were awarded a third penalty in stoppage time, and Beddow converted again.

In the other games, Sunderland RCA came from behind to win 2-1 at Thornaby, while Ryhope CW beat Seaham Red Star 2-0.

In the FA Cup, Dunston had a good 4-1 away win at Goole, but Hebburn were well beaten 4-0 at home by Pontefract. Morpeth just held on to beat Brighouse 3-2.
