Tom White has moved to League Two Barrow following the expiration of his loan spell at Hartlepool United

The midfielder signed on loan from Championship side Blackburn Rovers in February and made 10 appearances in total.

The former Gateshead man featured heavily up until April when he found game time hard to come by in the Pools side as they continued their push for National League promotion.

His time with the club came to an end in May but having previously spent time on loan with Barrow at the beginning of the season, he's chosen to make the move to Holker Street.

White tweeted: "I honestly can’t tell you how made up I am to be back.

"A huge year ahead for the club and l’m so excited to be a part of it.

"Thank you for all the messages, see you soon."

Pools may well be coming up against White next season if they can seal National League promotion via the play-offs.

They face Stockport County on Sunday for a place in the final where they'll face the winner of Torquay United against Notts County on Sunday 20th June at Ashton Gate.
