LANCASHIRE have struck four times this morning, but Yorkshire remain the most likely winners of the ongoing Roses clash at Headingley.

They have reached lunch on day three at 154-7 from 62 overs in their second innings, a lead of 266.

The Red Rose started day three in impressive fashion by taking three wickets to reduce the champions to 89-6 - a lead of 201.

Neil Wagner bowled Adam Lyth around his legs with the second ball of the day and had Andrew Gale caught at short-leg.

Tom Smith also had night-watchman Steve Patterson caught behind.

Adil Rashid and Tim Bresnan (29) then shared a crucial 41 for the seventh wicket to lift Yorkshire in excellent bowling conditions.

Their partnership was broken when Bresnan edged Luke Procter to first slip in the 55th over, leaving the score at 130-7.

Rashid and Liam Plunkett have since shared 24 unbroken in reaching 20 and nine not out respectively.
