ADAM Boyd started for Hartlepool United, as Chris Turner looked to stop the rot against Leeds United.
Pools have not won in five and have just two wins in 12 games and Boyd replaced Denis Behan in the only change to the starting XI.
Leeds handed Gary McSheffrey a start, in place of Rob Snodgrass.
