Ricky Sbragia has given El Hadji Diouf and Pascal Cimbonda a place on the bench but has kept faith with the starting 11 that won 4-1 at Hull City.

Diouf, who has been linked with a move away from Wearside in the January transfer window, will be hoping for a chance to come on and impress former boss Sam Allardyce.

And Pascal Chimbonda makes a surpise return to the bench after enduring a spell on the sidelines.

David Healy drops out of the squad with Darryl Murphy the only recogniosed striker amongst the Sunderland substitutes.

Kenwyne Jones and Djibril Cisse continue their partnership in attack with Kieran Richardson again captaining the side in the absence of Dean Whitehead who has to contend himself with a place on the bench.

Allardyce also names an unchaged starting line-up after guiding his side to victory in his first game in charge at Ewood Park.
