SUNDERLAND’S Championship tie against Birmingham City in November has been moved to a Friday evening after being selected for television coverage.
The Black Cats will now head to the Midlands on Friday 11th November for an evening kick-off on Remembrance Day.
The game at St Andrews is the final game before the Championship season pauses for the Winter World Cup in Qatar.
Sunderland have made a strong start to the season sitting in fifth place in the table. They return to league action next weekend when they welcome Preston North End to the Stadium of Light.
