SUNDERLAND boss Roy Keane has taken the surprise decision to put midfielder Liam Miller on the transfer list.
Miller, who had been expected to feature in this evening's reserves game with Bolton, has been told to look for a new club.
While Premier League clubs are banned from making signings until the transfer window reopens in the summer, Football League clubs could sign Miller on an emergency loan.
The Republic of Ireland international has made 52 appearances for the Black Cats since joining on a free transfer from Manchester United in August 2006.
Miller joins Ross Wallace, David Connolly, Ian Harte, Stephen Wright, Graham Kavanagh, Greg Halford and Stanislav Varga on the Sunderland transfer list.
