ALEX Neil has named the same starting eleven that beat Bristol City 3-2 last weekend as Sunderland make eleven changes from the midweek Carabao Cup loss to Sheffield Wednesday.
Ellis Simms keeps his place in the starting line-up after scoring twice and producing a man of the match performance in last week’s win at Ashton Gate. He will partner Ross Stewart in attack.
The Black Cats will play 3-5-2 with Lynden Gooch and Jack Clarke operating as wing backs.
The only survivors from Wednesday’s game at Hillsborough are Alex Bass, Bailey Wright, Aji Alese, Luke O’Nien, Elliot Embleton, Jack Diamond and Patrick Roberts who make up the subs bench.
