MIDDLESBROUGH have sold striker Uche Ikpeazu to Turkish outfit Konyaspor after falling out of favour at the club.
The 27-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal at the club with an option for a further year and makes the move across Europe for the first time in his career.
Ikpeazu made 23 appearances for the club scoring three goals after making the move from Wycombe Wanderers last summer under Neil Warnock.
Under Chris Wilder, Ikpeazu did not feature in the manager's plans with his last appearance coming in Boro’s FA Cup win over Mansfield in January where he scored the opening goal of the game.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with Chamionship rivals Cardiff City where he also netted three times for the Bluebirds.
