A NUMBER of Sunderland fans are yet to receive their season cards for this season with some supporters forced to queue in hot tempartures outside the club's ticket office.

Over 30,000 season tickets have been sold but problems with the distribution continue which has seen some fans not receive cards in time for the Black Cats’ opening day Championship tie against Coventry City.

Some supporters have had to take matters into their own hands and visit the club's ticket office at the Stadium of Light this afternoon as the Black Cats host Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.

Having reduced the opening hours at the ticket office over the years, it is not staffed until Friday ahead of weekend games but has partial opening hours on Wednesday and Thursday.

Adult season cards at the Stadium of Light cost a minimum of £390, with Under-16s able to secure their seat from £48 and over-65s from £270.
