THIS season's eagerly-awaited Tees-Wear derby between Middlesbrough and Sunderland has been moved to accommodate live coverage on TV.

The game at the Riverside had been due to take place on Saturday, September 3, but it will now be staged two days later on Monday, September 5 (8pm).

The match, which will be the first Tees-Wear derby for four years, will be screened live on Sky Sports.

Another of Boro's matches has been rearranged because of TV coverage.

The home game with Rotherham United will still take place on Saturday, September 17, but it will now be an evening game with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.
