MIDDLESBROUGH have secured the future of a fifth academy product since the end of the season.
Goalkeeper Oliver Swann has signed a one-year professional deal with the club following in the footsteps of Frankie Whelan, Afonso Sindo, Sam Collins and Ben Beals.
The 19-year-old shotstopper made seven appearances for the Under-23’s team last season and breaking into the team during his third year scholar.
Boro have made changes to their first-team having released Sol Bamba, Lee Peltier and Neil Taylor at the end of the Championship season.
Captain Jonny Howson has been offered a new contract at the club.
