SOL Bamba, Lee Peltier and Neil Taylor will not be offered new contracts at Middlesbrough while the club have confirmed that club captain Jonny Howson has been offered a new deal.

Bamba, Peltier and Taylor will be allowed to leave following the expiration of their deals later this summer while Andraz Sporar, James Lea-Siliki, Aaron Connolly and Folarin Balogun has all returned to their parent clubs following the expiration of their loan deals.

Following impressive performances this season and winning the club’s Player of the Year award, the club captain Howson has been given the opportunity to extend his five year stay at the club.

However, Boro's seasoned trio will be allowed to move on as the club's large scale rebuild begins today. The manager has been holding taks with individual players at the club throughout the day and informing them of their own futures.

Wilder said: "If you go through the list of those guys, Sol Bamba, Lee Peltier and Neil Taylor, they have been exemplary professionals. They have all played at part on and off the pitch.

"Sol is just a fabulous guy first and foremost and they all are. They have got huge qualities as human beings let alone of what they do on the football pitch as well."
