MIDDLESBROUGH defender Hayden Coulson could be recalled by the club from his loan deal at Ipswich Town today according to reports.
Coulson has struggled with injury all season and made just six appearances for the Tractor Boys. Ipswich Town have moved to bring in full-back Dominic Thompson on loan from Brentford which will push Coulson further down the pecking order.
Boro may well be tempted to bring Coulson back to the club with Neil Taylor currently being the club’s only available senior left-back. Marc Bola is still out with injury with a return earmarked for the end of the February to the beginning of March and injury to Taylor would leave them severely short at the back.
If Boro have a recall clause in his loan deal with Ipswich, then they would only have until the end of today to enact it and bring him back to the club.
