Allan St Maximin wins North East Football Writers Player of the Year for 2021
ALLAN St Maximin has been award the North-East Football Writers Player of the Year Award for 2021.
The Newcastle forward narrowly beat team-mate Callum Wilson to the award with Middlesbrough defender Paddy McNair finishing in the third place.
Durham captain Sarah Wilson has been award the NE Football Writers Women’s Player of the Year award.
St Maximin scored six goals in 38 appearances in the calendar year with the Frenchman playing an integral part of the Magpies side.
The award will be presenting on 6th March at Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham.
