MIDDLESBROUGH have made no changes from the weekend’s draw against Millwall with Andraz Sporar passing a late fitness test to start against Preston North End.
The Slovenian striker was withdrawn at the half time interval at the weekend after rolling his ankle.
He was deemed a major doubt for the game tonight but has passed the proper medical inspection to be in from the off.
Jonny Howson will wear the captain's armband this evening and feature for Boro for the 200th time in his career.
The only change to the matchday squad come on the substitutes bench with Joe Lumley dropping out of the matchday squad completely for Dejan Stojanovic.
Dael Fry, Grant Hall and Martin Payero are all missing through their own respective injuries with no timescale on when they will return to action.
