SUNDERLAND'S Carabao Cup quarter final with Arsenal was officially confirmed earlier today which will see them play four games in 13 days.
The Black Cats will take on the Premier League Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 21st December for a 7:45pm kick-off.
Luckily for Sunderland, their League One ties over the course of the festive period were pushing forward by a day to allow them more time in between games.
Lee Johnson's side travel to Doncaster Rovers on Monday 27th December before a Thursday night evening match where they host Sheffield Wednesday on the 30th December.
Sunderland will then begin 2022 on the 2nd January where Fleetwood Town will make the trip to the Stadium of Light for a 1pm kick-off.
