THE FA Cup first round draw took place this afternoon with Sunderland, Hartlepool United, Morpeth and Marske United all involved.
The Black Cats have been handed a home tie against League Two side Mansfield for their first game of the competition.
Elsewhere, Hartlepool United have been handed a very strong opponents on paper. They’ll face League One high flyers Wycombe Wanderers at Victoria Park.
Morpeth battled their way to 1-1 draw against York City yesterday. The winner of their replay will face either Kettering Town or Buxton in the next round.
Marske United have also taken National League North side Gateshead to a replay which will be played on Tuesday night. The winner of that game will be handed a home game against National League Altrincham.
All games are due to be played on the weekend of Saturday 6th November.
