Sunderland head coach Lee Johnson
LEE JOHNSON has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for August.
The Sunderland boss led his side to the top of the table in the opening month of the season, with the Black Cats winning four of their first five league matches.
Johnson, who also celebrated Carabao Cup wins over Port Vale and Blackpool last month, is nominated alongside Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe), Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink (Burton) and Leam Richardson (Wigan).
The shortlist for the League One Player of the Month is James Henry (Oxford), Bailey Peacock-Farrell (Sheff Wed), Cole Stockton (Morecambe) and Ryan Tunnicliffe (Portsmouth).
