Olomola is set to feature against Gateshead tomrrow in their latest pre-season scheudle and is hoping to continue impressing the fans.

“I’d delighted to be here. It’s a great stadium and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans" Olomola told the club website.

“Delighted to make my impression. I’m on the pitch to score goals, that’s what I want to do every time I step onto the pitch.

“I’m strong, I’m quick. I like to run in behind but I’m also good with the ball at my feet but ultimately my objective every time I step on the pitch is to score goals and win games.

“I’ve heard a lot of things about the fans from the players so I can’t wait to play in front of packed stadium and score goals in front of them.

“Everyone’s been so good to me, everyone’s been different class and made me feel very welcome and I already feel like I’m part of the team.

“The manager definitely has a big say in why I came here. He liked me and obviously he’s seen me in training and was impressed with what I showed and so I’m delighted.”

Pools play Gateshead tomorrow at he International Stadium followed by a trip to Blyth Spartans next Tuesday.
