Top scorer Charlie Wyke and winger Aiden McGeady have been named in the PFA League One Team of the Year.

Wyke, 28, registered 30 goals across the league campaign along with another goal in the play-offs. He finished second in the league goalscoring charts behind Peterborough's Jonson Clarke-Harris.

McGeady, 35, made 16 assists last season and was top of the leaderboard for League One.

The pair often combined throughout the season making them a formidable striking partnership for Sunderland as they went on to finish the season in 4th place in League One.

The pair have both been offered a new contract to stay at Sunderland next season with Lee Johnson hopeful of striking a deal between club and players.

Reports suggest Wyke has attracted interest from elsewhere with a few Championship teams named among the list of admirers.
