The Riverside Stadium saw supporters through the turnstiles at the Riverside Stadium as England beat Austria in an international friendly.
It's the first time fans have watched a game on Teesside since the EFL's trialing of the phased return of crowds where 1,000 supporters watched Boro's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth last September.
The Three Lions came out on top with a 1-0 win thanks to Bukayo Saka's first international goal.
Former Boro manager Gareth Southgate was back in the Riverside Stadium dugout as England boss as he makes final preparations for this summer's Euro 2020 tournament. Their first game is against Croatia on 13th June.
With one more game at the Riverside to come against Romania this Sunday, fans posted their reaction to being back in the home of Middlesbrough Football Club...
Our kind of date night ❤️

Not the greatest of performances but job done against a good Austria side, at a freezing Riverside Stadium tonight in our first preparation match.
