SAM MORSY will be available for Middlesbrough's game at Birmingham City after winning his appeal against his red card in Wednesday's victory over Luton Town.
Morsy was sent off for a delibate handball in the incident that led to the award of a Luton penalty.
However, Boro appealed against the referee's decision and an FA disciplinary hearing has overturned the red card.
An FA statement said: "Sam Morsy will be available for Middlesbrough FC’s next game after a successful claim of wrongful dismissal.
"The midfielder was sent off for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity during an EFL Championship game against Luton Town FC on Wednesday [16/12/20]."
