SHEFFIELD UNITED striker David Parkhouse has joined Hartlepool United on loan until January.
The 20-year-old Northern Ireland youth international has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blades, but recently scored for his country in a Euro qualifier against Malta Under-21s.
He spent part of last season on loan at League Two side Stevenage, and scored 19 goals in 39 appearances for Derry City during a spell in the League of Ireland Premier Division in 2018-19.
Pools boss Dave Challinor said: "We are delighted to get David in. It is somewhere on the pitch we have been looking to strengthen and he provides us just that. He is a goalscorer and an Under-21 international, so I believe he can do very well in this league."
